Difference between Tornado and cyclone
Cyclones and tornadoes are both stormy atmospheric systems that have the potential of causing destruction. They are caused due to instability in atmospheric conditions.
Cyclone:
A cyclone is a storm or system of winds that rotates about a center of low atmospheric pressure. Cyclones advance at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour, and often bring heavy rain. They have very large diameters.

A tornado is a rotating column of air. They whirl at destructively high speeds. They range in width from a few yards to more than a kilometre. They have smaller diameter than cyclones.
