Nutrition: The process of obtaining or providing nutrients for the growth of the body is known as nutrition.
Nutrients: These are the substances that provide nourishment to the body. It helps in the growth and survival of organisms.
Holozoic Nutrition | Saprophytic Nutrition |
In this mode of nutrition, an organism takes the complex organic food materials into its body by the process of ingestion; the ingested food is digested and then absorbed into the body cells of the organism. | In this mode of nutrition, an organism obtains its food from dead organic matter of dead plants, dead animals, and rotten bread. |
