Define linear magnification produced by a mirror.

The ratio of the height of an image $(h_{2})$ to the height of an object $(h_{1})$ is known as linear magnification $(m)$.

$m=\frac{{h}_{2}}{{h}_{1}}$

where, h2 = height of the image

h1 = height of the object
