Fraction:

A fraction is a part of a whole.

It is also defined as a ratio between two integers. The upper part of a fraction is called the numerator and the lower part is called the denominator.

For example,

$\frac{3}{5}$ is a fraction in which 3 is the numerator and 5 is the denominator.
