Construct the Rhombus BEND given its diagonals
BN= 5.6 cm and DE= 6.5 cm
Given: The length of diagonals given are BN =5.6cm and DE = 6.5cm
To Do: Construct the Rhombus BEND
Solution:
Steps of Construction:
Draw a line segment NB = 5.6 cm
Draw perpendicular bisector of NB. Let it intersect NB at O.
With O as centre and radius equal to half of DE(3.25 cm) draw arcs on either side of NB on the perpendicular bisector. Let them intersect at E and D as shown.
Join points N, E; points E, B; points B, D and points N, D.
BEND is the required rhombus.
