Conductor:

A conductor is a substance through which the conduction of the heat takes place easily.

Most of the metals are good conductors of heat.

For example, Copper, iron, aluminum, etc are good conductors of heat.

Insulator:

An insulator is a substance through which heat does not transfer. They are bad conductors of heat.

For example, wood, plastic, glass, etc are insulators of heat.
