Can all plants eat insects?


No, not all plants can eat insects rather some species of plants can eat insects which is known as the insectivores plant or carnivorous plants.


Examples-

1. Venus flytrap- feeds on spiders, grasshoppers, and other insects.

2. Pitcher plant- feeds on bees, ants, flies, etc.

There are over 500 species of insectivorous plants found in marshes, swamps, bogs, and other such nutrient-deficit habitats.
