Calculate the pressure when a force of $200\ N$ is exerted on an area of:
(a) $10\ m^2$(b) $5\ m^2$

Here given, force $F=200\ N$

(a). When area $A=10\ m^2$

Then, pressure exerted $P=\frac{F}{A}$

$=\frac{200\ N}{10\ m^2}$

$=20\ Pa$

(b). When area $A=5\ m^2$

Then, pressure $P=\frac{F}{A}$

$=\frac{200\ N}{5\ m^2}$

$=40\ Pa$
