Evaluate the following:
$\frac{5}{9}$+$\frac{8}{25}$

Given,

$\frac{5}{9}$+$\frac{8}{25}$

We have to find LCM of 9 and 25.

LCM of 9 and 25 is 225.

Therefore,

$\frac{5}{9} +\frac{8}{25} =\frac{5\times 25+8\times 9}{225} =\frac{125+72}{225} =\frac{197}{225}$

$= \frac{1 2 5 + 7 2}{2 2 5}$

$= \frac{1 9 7}{2 2 5}$ .
