Draw ray diagram to show the principal focus of a:
(i) concave mirror
(ii) convex mirror

(i) concave mirror
Whenever light rays from a source are parallel to the principal axis of a concave mirror,  they all converge at a single point after reflection.

This point is called 'Principal focus'. The principal focus is denoted by the letter F

(ii) convex mirror:
Whenever light rays from a source are parallel to the principal axis of a convex mirror, after reflection, the rays appear to diverge from a single point called the principal focus of convex mirror.
