“Burning fossil fuels is a cause of global warming.” Justify this statement.

The earth’s temperature is kept constant by the balance of heat loss and the heat gained from the sun. The atmosphere naturally constitutes greenhouse gases. The burning of fossil fuels liberates harmful gases that increased the levels of greenhouse gases leading to an increase in trapping higher amounts of heat. This results in the rise in the average global temperature of the planet which is known as global warming.

Other human activities such as deforestation and industrialization have also dramatically increased the levels of greenhouse gases leading to an increase in trapping higher amounts of heat.
