(a) The hormones secreted by the following endocrine glands are-

(i) Thyroid gland- Thyroxine.

(ii) Parathyroid glands- Parathormone.

​(iii) Pancreas- Insulin.

(iv) Adrenal glands- Adrenaline. 


(b) The functions of testosterone hormone is to control the development of male sex organs (testes and penis), and male characters such as deepening of voice, widening of shoulders, moustache, beard and other body hair.

The functions of the oestrogen hormone are to control the development of female sex organs (fallopian tubes, uterus), and female characters such as high pitch voice, enlargement of mammary glands (breasts), initiation of ovulation and menstruation widening of pelvis and hips.
