(a) Define pressure.
(b) What is the relation between pressure, force and area ? ,
(c) Calculate the pressure when a force of $200\ N$ is exerted on an area of:
(i) $10\ m^2$
(ii) $5\ m^2$

(a). Pressure:  Force acting upon per unit area of a body perpendicularly is known Pressure.

(b). Relation between pressure, force, and area:

$\boxed{P=\frac{F}{A}}$

Here, $P\rightarrow$pressure

$F\rightarrow$force

$A\rightarrow$area

(c). Force exerted $F=200\ N$

(i). Area $A=10\ m^2$

Therefore, pressure $P=\frac{F}{A}$

$=\frac{200\ N}{10\ m^2}$

$=20\ N/m^2$

Therefore, pressure is $20\ N/m^2$ when the force is exerted on $10\ m^2$ areas.

(ii). Area $A=5\ m^2$

Therefore, pressure $=\frac{F}{A}$

$=\frac{200\ N}{5\ m^2}$

$=40\ N/m^2$

Therefore, pressure is $40\ N/m^2$ when $200\ N$ force is exerted on $5\ m^2$ areas.
