Are oscillations and vibration same?
Oscillations and Vibrations are not the same, because Oscillation is defined as the definite amount of displacement of a solid body related to distance covered or time taken for it. While Vibration is the movement or change brought in the body due to oscillations caused in it.
Oscillation is the change in a single body or object and Vibration is the effect caused in the body due to collections of oscillations of atoms.
