An object dropped from a cliff falls with a constant acceleration of $10\ m/s^2$. Find its velocity $5\ s$ after it was dropped.
Here, Initial velocity $u=0$
Acceleration $a=10\ m/s^2$
Time $t=5\ s$
On using the first equation of the motion $v=u+at$
Or $v=0+10\times5$
Or $v=50\ m/s$
Therefore, velocity of the object after $5\ s$ is $50\ m/s$.
