To do: To find the cost price of the sweater.
Solution:
As given, selling price of the sweater$=₹\ 600$
Loss$=20$ %
Therefore, cost price$=\frac{100}{100-Loss in percent}\times Sell\ Price$
$\Rightarrow$ Cost price$=\frac{100}{100-20}\times600$
$=\frac{100}{80}\times600$
$=₹\ 750$
Therefore, the cost price of the sweater is $₹\ 750$.
