A vendor supplies 23 litres of milk to a hotel in the morning and 86 litres of milk in the evening. If the milk costs Rs 45 per litre, how much money is due to the vendor per day?

Given:

Milk supplied in the morning = 23 L

Milk supplied in the evening = 86 L

Cost of 1 L milk = ₹ 45

To Find: We have to find the total money that is due to the vendor per day.

Solution:

Now,

Total amount of milk supplied in a day = 23 $+$  86 = 109 L

Therefore, the cost of 109 L milk = ₹ 45 $\times $ 109 = ₹ 4905
