Given:
Length of the room$=15\ m$.
Breadth of the room$=10\ m$.
Cost of 1 sq. cm of carpet$=Rs.\ 2.00$.
To do:
We have to find the cost of carpeting the room.
Solution:
Area of the room$=$Length$\times$Breadth
$=15\times10\ m^2$
$=150\ m^2$
$=150\times(100)^2\ cm^2$
$=1500000\ cm^2$
Cost of carpeting the room$=Rs.\ 2\times1500000$
$=Rs.\ 3000000$
Cost of carpeting the floor of the room is Rs. 30,00,000.
