A pendulum oscillates 200 times in 16 seconds. Calculate the frequency and time period.
Given,
Total no. of oscillations = 200 times
Total time taken = 16 seconds
To find - Frequency and Time period.
We know that,
${frequency\left(f\right)}=\frac{No.ofvibrations/oscialltion}{time}=\frac{200}{16}=12.5 Hz$
${time period\left(t\right)}=\frac{1}{frequency\left(f\right)}=\frac{1}{12.5}=0.08\sec$
Hence, Frequency = 12.5 Hz, and Time-period = 0.08 sec.
