A force of $10\ N$ displaces a body by a distance of $2\ m$ at an angle $60^{o}$ to its own direction. Find the amount of work done.
Here given, Force Applied $F=10\ N$, Displacement $d=2\ m$, Angle $\theta=60^{\circ}$
Therefore, work done $W=Fd\cos\theta$
$=10\ N\times2\ m\times\cos60^{\circ}$
$=20\times\frac{1}{2}$
$=10\ Joule$.
