A coin and a piece of paper are dropped simultaneously from the same height. Which of the two will touch the ground first? What will happen if the coin and the piece of paper are dropped in vacuum? Give reasons for your answer.
If a coin and a piece of paper are dropped simultaneously from the same height, then the coin will touch the ground first as the coin has more mass than the piece of paper. Due to more mass, the earth will exert more gravity force.
When the coin and the piece of paper are dropped in a vacuum, they will reach at the same time as there is no gravity in a vacuum.
