Given: A cloth seller sells cloth at the rate of Rs 25 $\frac{3}{5}$ per meter

To do:  What is the cost of 5 $\frac{3}{4}$ m of cloth

Solution:

Rate of cloth = Rs 25 $\frac{3}{5}$ per meter = 25.60m

Length of cloth = 5 $\frac{3}{4}$ m = 5.75 m

Cost of 5.75 m of cloth = 5.75 x 25.60 = Rs 147.20
