A car travel at 60 Kmph on a trip and at 100 Kmph on return trip. What was its average speed for entire trip ?

$Average \ speed = \frac{Total \ distance }{ Total \ time}$

Let the distance be 'D' on a single trip.

Therefore, average speed =  $\frac{Total \ distance }{ Total \ time}$ = $\frac{2D }{\frac{D}{60} + \frac{D}{100}}$

=> Average speed = $2 \times 60 \times 100 \div 160$ = 75kmph.
