A body starts moving from the rest and in $5\ seconds$ its velocity becomes $50\ m/s$. Find the acceleration.
Here initial velocity $u=0$
Final velocity $v=50\ m/s$
Time $t=5\ seconds$
Therefore, acceleration $a=\frac{v-u}{t}$
$=\frac{50-0}{5}$
$=\frac{50}{5}$
$=10\ m/s^2$
Therefore, the acceleration is $10\ m/s^2$.
