A body starts moving from the initial velocity $10\ m/s$ and its velocity becomes $30\ m/s$ in $5\ seconds$. Find the acceleration of the body.
Here as given initial velocity $u=10$
Final velocity $v=30\ m/s$
Time $t=5\ seconds$
Therefore, the acceleration $a=\frac{v-u}{t}$
$=\frac{30-10}{5}$
$=\frac{20}{5}$
$=4\ m/s^2$
