A body of mass 25 kg has a momentum of 125 kg.m/s. Calculate the velocity of the body.

Here, the mass of the body $m=25\ kg$

Momentum of the body $P=125\ kg-m/s$

Therefore, the velocity of the moving body $v=\frac{P}{m}$     [as $P=mv$]

Or $v=\frac{125\ kg-m/s}{25\ kg}$

Or $v=5\ m/s$

Therefore, the velocity of the moving body is $5\ m/s$.
