Given: $8649$ person were sitting in an auditorium in such a manner that there were as many person in the row as there were rows in the auditorium.
To do: To find the number of persons in each row of the auditorium.
Solution:
Number of persons in one row$=x$
Therefore, number of rows in the auditorium$=x$
Total number of persons$=$Number of person in one row $\times$ number of rows
$=x\times x=x^2$
$\therefore 8649=x^2$
$\Rightarrow x=\sqrt{8649}=93$
Therefore, there are $93$ persons in each row of the auditorium.
