8 pizzas cost Rs. 1600. What is the cost of 6 pizzas?
Given:
8 pizzas cost Rs. 1600.
To do:
We have to find the cost of 6 pizzas.
Solution:
The cost of 1 pizza$=Rs.\ \frac{1600}{8}=Rs.\ 200$.
The cost of 6 pizzas$=Rs.\ 6\times200$
$=Rs.\ 1200$.
The cost of 6 pizzas is Rs. 1200.
