Review of Xiaomi MI Note 2

Xiaomi Mi phones are affordable Chinese phones launched to give us all the classy features of a stylish smartphone within our budget. Xiaomi, like always, is going to hit the market with its brand new phone – Mi Note 2, and going to be a tough competition to beat. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has already created a buzz before its launch and took all its competitors by surprise, especially, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and iPhone 6 plus. As heard. it has all the best features in affordable price. It is a thin and a light phone. If the buzz and the rumours are to be believed, then this phone is going to be launched with all the latest features. It is also being called as Phablet owing to its power packed features and stunning looks.

As far as we know, Xiaomi is going to launch two different variants of Mi Note 2 – one with a 64GB of internal memory and a 4GB RAM priced at 2,499 Yuan (around Rs. 25000), and the other one with a 128GB of internal storage and a 6GB RAM priced at 2,799 Yuan (around Rs. 28,000). The smartphone is also expected to have a 12MP dual camera or a 16MP main camera with 4 axis OIS and dual LED flash and a 4,000mAh battery.

The storage can be increased with the help of expandable storage of 32 GB. It is a great deal when you are looking for a smart phone with 5.7-inch super AMOLED dual edge curved display screen capturing the screen resolution as 1080 X 1920 pixels and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 Processor that also in your budget.

This power packed smart phone is going to support 2G, 3G as well as 4G network. And with Wi- Fi of 802.11ac, this is going to be a grabber. Apart from the normal buttons on the left edge of the phone, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack and microphone on the top of the device. The Mi Note 2 sports a USB Type-C port as well.

Design

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is the perfect combination of sleek design, smart looks, and powerful processor. It is a rumoured to have been loaded with dual-lens setups. The phone is expected to have a USB Type-C port, 3600mAh battery, two speaker grilles, and a fingerprint sensor at the front. The backcover of the phone is removable. The previous rumours suggested that Xiaomi Mi note 2 is going to have a 5.7-inch 2K dual curved display screen (like Samsung Galaxy Note 7), which is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor running at a 2.6GHz and on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. It is also rumoured that the phone may be equipped with Android 7.0 Nougat. It is expected to be coming in an all-metal body. With the removable Li-Po 4000mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, you can expect a great power.

Camera Features

The biggest attention grabbing point of Mi Note 2 is the dual rear camera set-up. With 12-megapixel dual-camera and 16MP main camera, Sony Image Sensor – IMX298 sensor with 4 axis OIS (optical image stabilization) with a fingerprint sensor, this definitely is a game changer. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 leaves a great impression. It would also be having dual LED flash. The Camera supports Video recording, along with all the other popular features which its counter part, Mi Note had.

Launch Date

The Mi smartphone was expected to launch in September first week in 2016, but the launch seems to get delayed and the date of launch is rescheduled at November.

Currently, not much information is available about the complete specs of this phone, but we are trying to grab as much information as we can. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 clearly beats its competitors, when it comes to processor power.

Review: Samsung Galaxy C7

Samsung has yet again added another feather in its flagship phones with Samsung Galaxy C7. This 5.7-inch screen phone is coming in full HD with a touchscreen display of resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. This dual SIM (GSM and GSM) phone is the talk of the town. This stylish and high-performance phone is the next big thing in the market.

Samsung Galaxy C7 is powered with 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and packed with 4GB of RAM. The phone is coming with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 128GB using a microSD card. Not to forget about the camera which is coming with the back and a rear cameras.

Battery Specs

The Samsung Galaxy C7 runs on Android 6.0.1 and is packed with a 3300mAh Li-ion battery. The battery of the Galaxy C7 is non-removable. The phone is packed with Quick Charge 3.0 with fast battery charging: 83% in just 30 min. The phone is having an additional security in the form of a fingerprint sensor.

Design

It measures 156.60 x 77.20 x 6.70 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 165.00 grams. The phone is having dual slots for Nano-SIM allowing only GSM networks. This Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors is classy in looks and stylish in carrying. It supports 4G with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India, 3G, Dual Sim, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. The phone is coming in Gold, Pink Gold and Dark Grey colours. It is wrapped in a strong metal body.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy C7 comes with two cameras – a 16-megapixel rear camera to capture beautiful pictures and an 8-megapixel front camera for superb selfies. It also supports f/1.9 aperture with dual LED flash to assist in low light photography. It also has autofocus and Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR with the video recording of 1080p@30fps.

Launch Date

Nothing is yet confirmed, but this super-power phone is expected to get launched by the end of this year with an expected price of around Rs. 27,000/-. But for Samsung fans, this is assumed to be a worth waiting phone to look forward to.

To conclude, Samsung Galaxy C7 is having a brilliant display, Great camera, Powerful specs, Slim metallic body and awesome looks. With every sugar comes some spice, similarly, in this case, as well we have some down points like non-removable battery, no infrared and Hybrid SIM. Samsung being a market leader, can easily create market for its super cool phone.
