Manish Malhotra is a well-known name, heard by everyone in the world. A fashion designer by profession, Manish has achieved many milestones in his journey. Biography
Manish Malhotra is an Indian fashion designer, an entrepreneur, a costume stylist, and a filmmaker. A young model who has designed for movies like "Om Shanti Om", "Student of the Year", "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", and "Dhadak". His work was worn by people from the era of Rekha to the modern times, Sara and Janhvi. His creativity even left his footprints worldwide and attracted celebrities, including Hillary Clinton, Michael Jackson, Kylie Minogue, and Jean Claude Van Damme. In 2006, he launched his own label, "Manish Malhotra," which was famous for its diffusion line and exclusive menswear collection, which influenced many people. With his creative mind and hard work, Manish Malhotra achieved an entrepreneurship milestone of 100 crore turnover in 2014. The expansion in his work came in 2018 when he launched his beauty makeup line, "Manish Mamlhotra Haoute Coututre," and collaborated with brands like Vivo, Alchymi, and Magnum.
A Step in Designing a Career
In his early life, Manish completed his economics and commerce studies at Elphinstone College, Mumbai. But his interests led him to something else, and Manish started to watch English movies. With time, for extra income, Manish started modelling for famous brands like Gold Spot and Close-Up and also conducted surveys for market research agencies. But this was not enough, and he went to Singapore and Bangkok to explore the world. In his journey to these places, he found different things and joined a boutique called Equinox. This boosted his career in the designing field, and gradually, with time, Manish started taking orders. Manish tried to break into Bollywood along the way, and one day, David Dhawan approached him about designing a song. This song was filmed with Divya Bharti. However, the song was never released, but since then, his designing career has become stable and expanded with time. Even after gaining so much success, an interesting fact about Manish Malhotra that surprises people is that he never did any design training. His keen interest in painting and sketching gave his career another height.
