lt was observed that when the distance between an object and a lens decreases, the size of the image increases. What is the nature of this lens? If you keep on decreasing the distance between the object and the lens, will you still able to obtain the image on the screen? Explain.
When the distance between the lens and the object is decreased, then the size of the image is increased. It is a convex lens. If we keep on decreasing the distance between the convex lens and the object, then the size of the image also keeps on increasing. But after a certain distance, when the object comes between the principal focus and the lens, then a virtual, upright, and magnified image is formed. And this virtual image can't be seen.
