Solution:

From the given pictograph we can observe that,

Number of baskets sold by Rahim $=4\times100=400$

Number of baskets sold by Lakhanpal $=5.5\times100=550$

Number of baskets sold by Anwar $=7\times100=700$

Number of baskets sold by Martin $=9.5\times100=950$

Number of baskets sold by Ranjit Singh $=8\times100=800$

Number of baskets sold by Joseph $=4.5\times100=450$

Therefore,

(a) The maximum number of baskets was sold by Martin.

(b) The number of fruit baskets sold by Anwar was 700.

(c) The merchants who have sold 600 or more baskets are Anwar, Martin and Ranjit Singh.
