Course Description
If you struggle in a production, if your blocking is not solid, if your animation have always problem of spacing and timing, and you don't know how improved, or just you are a skilled animator and you want to know more how controls his animation, just join me. I will teach you my solid animation workflow from shooting a reference, to build a solid blocking spline and polish.
In my career I worked in any kind of productions (and departments) and during this years I worked hard to developed a method , a solid workflow to have full control of my animation and hit every deadlines, without sacrifice quality for quantity.
The last 3 years was intense and I worked harder to delivery to you my knowledge.

Here the breakdown of the course
1) How use the color manager of Maya 2020 to identify story telling poses, anticipations overshoot and breakdown
2) Building a solid first pass of the shot with really solid storytelling poses, and create the phisicity of the shot
3) Analyze the passing position and mix reference and creativity to see how use it in the shot
4) Create the overshoots follows the energy of anticipations
5) Create the breakdowns with my hybrid workflow.
6) Feel a shot, retiming a shot without a reference.
7) Working on the timing of the shot and prepare the shot for the pass of spline

Gabriele Ranfagni
Gabriele Ranfagni is a veteran of the animation industry.
His career begin in 1995 in Italy as a 2d animator.
During his prolific career he worked as a storyboard artist, character design, layout artist, background artist, stop motion animator, rigger, and now 3d animator.
He also worked as an animation and life drawing mentor since 2004 for many studios and organizations.
Right now Gabriele working in Montreal as a Senior 3d animator, where lives with his cats.
