Georgina Rose Chapman
Born in London, Georgina Rose Chapman is a British fashion designer and actress. She co-founded the Marchesa fashion house with Keren Craig and was a frequent cast member of Project Runway All Stars.
Biography
The English actress and fashion designer Georgina Rose Chapman was born on April 14, 1976, in London. Her parents are the multimillionaire businessman Brian Chapman and the journalist Caroline Wonfor. Georgina was raised in Richmond, a west London suburb where she was born.
She is best known as the co-founder of the clothing line Marchesa. She was also married to Harvey Weinstein, a rape offender and former head of Hollywood. Prior to the charges against Weinstein coming to light, Chapman had a very successful career as a fashion designer, receiving support from several actresses, supermodels, and musicians. Additionally, she served as a judge on the fashion-focused programs "Project Runway" and its offshoots "Project Runway: All Stars" and "Under the Gunn." She has also dabbled in acting and has appeared in a number of movies and shorts, although in supporting parts. She is gradually getting back to her regular life after being saddened for a very long time as a result of Weinstein's sexual harassment lawsuit.
She used to share an apartment in Shepherd's Bush with her pet dog, Rocky, while she was a college student. She appeared in advertisements for Head & Shoulders and Soothers while she was in her twenties. Furthermore, she acted in the music video for Brit Pop. Georgina and Keren Craig, who would become her business partner, met at the Chelsea College of Art & Design. Georgina Chapman graduated from Wimbledon School of Art in 2001, at which point she immediately started a career in costume design. She enjoys visiting Belize in Central America since she likes to drive and be active. At the age of eighteen, Chapman began driving lessons in Thailand. The designer also had some driving experience there, which she did not particularly love. Her favorite vacation activities were her treks across Nepal, the Andes, and Peru. For one designer, traveling to see the world's natural wonders is like heaven after living in New York. Chapman is a really daring individual; she likes camping and seeing what the outdoors has to offer.

She has favorite hangout spots in New York, such as the comfortable and homey Waverly Inn. Georgina also frequents The Spotted Pig, Extra Virgin, and San Ambroeus on West 4th for food and wine.
