"

To do:

We have to find the perimeter of the given figures.

Solution:

We know that,

Perimeter is defined as the length of the outline of a shape.

To find the perimeter of a figure, just add the lengths of all the sides of the figure.

Therefore,

(a) In the given figure,

Sum of the sides $=1+2+4+5$

$=12\ cm$

(b) In the given figure,

Sum of the sides $= 23+35+35+40$

$=133\ cm$

(iii) In the given figure,

Sum of the sides $= 15+15+15+15$

$=60\ cm$

(iv) In the given figure,

Sum of the sides $= 4+4+4+4+4$

$= 20\ cm$

(v) In the given figure,

Sum of the sides $= 1+4+0.5+2.5+2.5+0.5+4$

$=15\ cm$

(vi) In the given figure,

Sum of the sides $= 4+1+3+2+3+4+1+3+2+3+4+1+3+2+3+4+1+3+2+3$

$= 52\ cm$
