Celestine Beyoncé Knowles-Lawson
Tina created clothes for the members of the group to wear when they performed at events or on stage during the early years of Beyoncé's career, when the group was strapped for cash. Being the mother of the superstars Beyoncé Knowles and Solange Knowles, Tina Knowles is no average lady or designer. She was the ex-wife of Mathew Knowles and was in charge of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Destiny's Child up until 2011. She is well-known for her House of Deréon and Miss Tina by Tina Knowles, two fashion labels she owns, in addition to being the proud mother of gifted musicians.
Personal Life
Tina Knowles, the youngest of Agnéz Deréon and Lumis Albert Beyincé's seven children, was born on January 4, 1954, in Galveston, Texas, in the United States. She grew up in a family descended from Acadian leader Joseph Broussard, together with her four brothers, Melvin Marsh Jr., Lumis Joseph, Ronald, and Larry, and two sisters, Selena and Florence. Her ancestors were Creoles of color from Louisiana, who may be traced back to Iberia Parish in the state of Louisiana.
Beyoncé and her sister Solange appear to have gotten their love of music from their mother. Knowles was a member of the Veltones, a high school singing group. Career
She opened her first salon, called Headliners, in Houston in 1990. She turned it into one of the city's most well-known hair salons over the course of the next 20 years. She was the group's costume designer during the early stages of her daughter's career, before the band had achieved financial success. Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams, the three members of Destiny's Child, all attended events and concerts wearing custom outfits designed by Knowles. She co-founded the apparel business House of Deréon with Beyoncé in 2004, giving it her mother-in-law's maiden name.
