Course Description
This Course is designed for students who have completed ESL classes for Beginners in Reading and Writing. It is for students to have a basic understanding of what Hard and Soft skills are, with examples. Students will learn how to read and identify these skills by looking through some Job Descriptions of Job titles that people usually apply for as first jobs, and/or to supplement incomes.
Students will complete assignments by reading through the Job Ad section in a Newspaper, cut them out or go to Job websites to search through Job Ads and print them out and use them to complete Homework Assignments. Students are expected to attend all Classes, participate in discussion, activities, complete homework assignments, quizzes, and a final exam.

I teach Business English, English for Specific Purposes, and Inter Cultural Communication to Adults at their Private Homes and Offices and English as a Second Language to children at their private homes. I have taught English for Academic Purposes at Community Colleges, English Language Schools, and a University. My hobbies are reading, cooking and tasting foods from different cultures, walking in the park and safe neighborhoods, traveling, watch family oriented comedies and TV Shows, listening and dancing to Gospel and Worship music, and listening to National and International News from the Radio, TV, and News Clips on the internet.
