Course Description

We are creating classes with the puporse of delivery to you the most complete course about BPMN avaliable on Internet, a course that covers all business process modeling in the Bizagi Modeler tool.

The course have the theoretical and the practical classes, in the theoretical classes concepts will be explained in accordance with the BPMN Documentation, continuing to practical classes within the Bizagi Modeler tool, where examples will be modeled by the instructor applying and explaining all available elements. Finally, we'll simulate and export the created diagrams, and we propose some exercises for you to create your own diagrams.

We focus on providing our students with enough knowledge to model their own processes.

The course is divided into 5 sections:

Section 01: The presentation of Course structure, and an explanation of what is BPMN .

Section 02: Theoretical section of the course, where all BPMN documentation is presented.

Section 03: First contact with the Bizagi Modeler tool, here it will be taught how to download the tool, presented the work area and then carried out all the modeling of an example (Pizza Delivery) according to BPMN methodology.

Section 04: In this section, the simulation of the project created in the previous section will be carried out, so that we can identify errors, bottlenecks and improvement points in the diagram. (The Simulation feature is only available in the paid version of bizagi modeler, the other tools presented in section 3 are free)

Section 05: Course conclusion topic, at this point you should already have all the necessary knowledge to create your models. Then we propose real situations for you to model your process, and after that you will be able to compare your result with that of other students and with that of the instructor who will correct the video examples.

To make it easier for you to create your own models, the files used in class will be available throughout the course.
