Hot Technology Updates for the Month

Pepsi Phone!

Pepsi Phone P1s was to be launched last month in November and PepsiCo is proud of its 5.50inch touchscreen device with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core Media Tek MT6592 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage and a 13 megapixel and a 5 megapixel selfie camera among other features.

Where’s all the fizz if this is a perfect phone? Well, latest reports show that PepsiCo may be going through financial problems for this phone, where the crowd funding is concerned. The company needs to raise more than half the amount required to manufacture the handsets in order to successfully fund the project.

Two versions of the phone P1 and P1s have been anticipated and Chinese markets are just that much interested as these phones offer nothing different. Now we just might have to hope that all the Pepsi drink purchase should be able to fund the least. Where are my CocaCola fans at?

Apple’s plans to Ditch headphone Jack – The Debate

Before we get all agitated, let’s look into the reason why? So, Apple has been looking into making a slimmer model for potential iPhone 7, which includes talks about the 3.5mm headphone jack that could possibly see the end of its life. Now, removing the jack may lead to a bigger battery, possible wireless connectivity, not to mention, possible improved audio and sound system.

Though, the ever burning question may be an issue with music lovers who do not settle with Apple’s stock headphones. If the company customizes Apple headphones, then that will in turn require spending more money and a ride to the ever-increasing Apple prices. Options like lightning headphones which makes its appearance slimmer, might also be a boon for Apple. Another speculation suggests, that making the jack disappear also opens up the possibility of making the phone waterproof. Win-win or lose-lose? The discussion is endless!
