Number of oscillations $=40$

Total time taken $=4\ seconds$

The time period, $T=\frac{Total-time}{Number\ of\ oscillation}$

$=\frac{4}{40}$

$=0.1\ s$

We know that frequency $f=\frac{number\ of\ oscillations}{time}$

$=\frac{40}{4}$

$=10\ Hz$

Therefore, the time period of the given pendulum is $0.1\ s$ and the frequency is $4\ Hz$.
