Description:

I am going to show you how you can make a sound button in flash 8 using the Action Script.

Step 1

First of all, create a new Flash document (Ctrl + N).

Step 2

Using the flash tools for drawing, draw any "sound symbol". For this example, I'll draw this:


Step 3

While the "sound symbol" is still selected, press F8 key ( or select Modify > Convert to Symbol ) to convert this "sound symbol" into a Movie Clip Symbol. See the picture below.    More detail...
