Description:

1. Open up a new document in Illustrator with a size of 800px by 600px. Select the Rectangle Tool from the tools palette draw a black background that is 800px by 600px. Name that layer black background.

2. Next create a new layer above the black background layer and name it text. On that new layer using a thick font with round corners and a point size of 125px type your text. I typed “NO VACANY”. With a fill color of none and a stroke color of (Medium Green) #06600C. Give the text a stroke of 6 pt.    More detail...
