jQuery - css( properties ) Method



Description

The css( properties ) method sets a key/value object as style properties to all matched elements.

Syntax

Here is the simple syntax to use this method −

selector.css( properties )

The above syntax can be written as follows −

selector.css( {key1:val1, key2:val2....keyN:valN})

Parameters

Here is the description of all the parameters used by this method −

  • properties − Key/value pairs to set as style properties.
