Tutorials Point - Simply Easy Learning

I would like to see some simple examples of C++ handling of common types of image and sound files. That would be very helpful to us C++ beginners. I've been learning C++ for a couple of months using DEV-C++ as my tool. Currently I am trying to write a simple show-and-tell talking program with a limited vocabulary for very young children.
