My requirement ..Two dates in my form ..

One is : 15-JAN-2012
sECOND : 20-AUG-2012

I need Output :
JAN
FEB
MAR
APR
MAY
JUN
JUL
AUG

Month name only ..
How can i write the Sql ..

Please help me ....

SELECT to_char(date, 'MON') from table; would work
