Tutorials Point - Simply Easy Learning

Hi,

I am 62 years old and have decided to test my poor old little grey cells with trying to learn Python.

Having been told it is a good language to learn.

My only problem I have so far is that having programmed years ago in Basic that uses subroutines I can not see how to call subroutines in Python or indeed if they are used.

I would be very grateful if someone would kindly expalin this to me - if no subroutines how do you build a very large program as it can't be all script surely?
