DOM - NamedNodeMap Object Method - removeNamedItem
The method removeNamedItem() removes a node specified by name.
Syntax
Following is the syntax for the usage of the removeNamedItem() method.
nodemapObject.removeNamedItem(name)
S.No. | Parameter & Description |
---|---|
1 | name This specifies the name of the node to remove. It is of type DOMString. |
This method returns the removed node.
Example
node.xml contents are as below −
